Frequently Asked Questions

Below please find the most commonly asked questions and their answers.  If you have additional questions that are not answered below, please use our contact form on the Home page for additional inquiries. We will respond and post your questions as soon as possible.

  • When will I be given access to the CASE information?
    To ensure that the competition is fair, the case will be emailed to the participants on the designated date for each competition.  It is important that all participants list their current email address and monitor their inbox for information and updates.  

  • When will our team be scheduled to give our presentation?
    Time slots will be made available to each participant team once the final schedule has been determined.  Scheduling presentations will be up to the discretion of the host university and Gordon Food Service.  Every attempt will be made to accommodate student schedules.

  • Am I able to participate in the competition as an individual?
    The Gordon Food Service Case Study competition is a team competition.  Teams of 4-5 individuals and their faculty advisor are eligible to participate.  

  • I don’t see my school listed as a partner university, am I still able to participate?
    Unfortunately, each competition is specific to the university and only eligible students from each participating university can participate.
